Prologis, which builds and owns modern, sustainable distribution centers, is constructing a new building in Cotia. This new project is expected to create approximately 4,000 new jobs and support the local economy and community by helping goods flow to businesses and households. It will increase municipal tax revenue, which helps fund [community-based] several improvements. We also are funding the construction of a new street that will connect two areas of Cotia that were able to connect only through the Highway.
Prologis is known to be a leader in sustainable development and, as part of our net zero commitment, builds all new buildings to meet our sustainability requirements. You can learn more about Prologis’ sustainability programs and project by reading our latest ESG report. As with all our projects, the Prologis SP 26 project adheres to all applicable laws.

Are you protecting the local wildlife?
Yes, we have an environmental technician and veterinarian working onsite full-time to monitor and facilitate the safety of local wildlife by directing them to go to the vegetation.
IMPROVEMENTS ON THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM
The permanent drainage system has been designed using 100 years of historical rainfall data to help ensure it can manage typical weather conditions effectively. Once the facility is completed, the site’s drainage system will reduce water flow to the nearby river – known for overflowing and causing flooding – by 30%.
